CANINE GOOD CITIZEN TESTING (CGC): Michael is a certified CGC evaluator for the American Kennel Club (AKC). He offers
on-going CGC testing at the conclusion of his Intermediate Manners/CGC dog class which prepares students to take the CGC test for free. Non students may take the evaluation for only $15.00. Email Michael to learn of the next test date. Earning a CGC Certificate can be helpful when obtaining home insurance as well as preparing your dog to become a therapy dog.
DO MORE WITH YOUR DOG!, trick titles: "Do More with Your Dog!" is the only sanctioning and organizing body for the sport of Dog Tricks utilizing positive training methods. It was developed by internationally known trick dog instructor, performer and author Kyra Sundance. Your dog too can learn new tricks and be titled as a trick dog. fee of $35 is charged per case, with no extra charge for follow-up

City ordinances define a potentially dangerous, dangerous or vicious dog
and what the responsibilities entail for the owner of such a dog.
Additionally, some cities have enacted ordinances which contain breed
specific legislation (BSL), prohibiting or restricting the ownership of
a certain breed(s). The Association of Pet Dog Trainers has a position statement as to proposing a model dog law.
